This week at job-job, I've been finishing up some animation for our newest phonics movie. Here are some stills of the art I made for it. Illustrating the mule was my favorite part, the chore of making him walk, not so much. It was always thus.
great for kids, girls and the occasional guy who's comfortable with his masculinity

Her Fame Proceeds Her
I'm a bit puzzled by the IF topic this week. Usually Penelope and Brianna are right on the money when it comes to picking prompts that have infinite approaches and a plethora of options. This week the topic is 'legendary'. I'm at a loss as to how this word could be used to illustrate anything or anyone other than our National treasure, that timeless classic beauty, our only living legend...

Clammy
I just got back from my vacation to Princeton. The hour and a half train ride, to and from, allowed for a lot of sketching. I mostly doodled, but I'll be working many of them into new surface designs. Here are my two favorite pages. Take a peak:
It was about as great a trip as one could get. I did a lot of running and dancing in big wide open spaces. I went to my favorite bakery in the planet, that's saying a lot considering I live next door to one of Brooklyn's best patisserie. I bought some new bits of genius at J.Crew and the Princeton Record Exchange. I also somehow managed to eat a good half pound of Thomas Sweet chocolates. Ooh...but the Melt-aways are just too good!
