Doesn't allow for much blogging or excitement.
For example, this is the gem I managed this week:In very happy news:
- Spring is gorgeous.
- Spring cleaning is almost done! (Thanks to the clearing clutter fairy, who came for a visit and managed to fix my life. Thanks mom.)
- I have Cinco De Mayo'd out
- My elusive robot drawings have resurfaced! Again, clutter be gone!
- I have almost finished answering the plethora of emails that flood my inbox every Spring from graduating high school students begging me for advice.
- Other than a taco party on a roof in Park Slope this weekend, and my normal brunching situation, it looks like I'll have nothing to tempt me from non-Surtex-like activity. YESSSS!
I wish I could help you set up again this year! :( I am also jealous of your Cinco de Mayo festivities. No one here even knows what it is. And it's certainly not warm enough for an ourdoor party...sigh...
ReplyDeletep.s. I can't believe you didn't mention your swedish adventure!!!
YOur sketch is beautiful! I soooooooooo need to declutter/spring clean. But quite frankly, I am scared to start lol. Where to start? Eeeeep!
ReplyDeleteLike your style! The swirly cheeks are a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteOh Rachel, I know! How could I forget to mention my trip to Sweden!? I miss you.
ReplyDeleteDawn, The de-cluttering was almost spiritual. Everything in life is sooo much better. I just started at the beginning and took things and said 'keep it' or 'lose it'? We donated more than 6 boxes of stuff to the Goodwill and now I live like someone from Better Homes and Gardens!
Ben, I like your style too ;)
